Additional Information: In this photo, the bowl diffuser was set as shown in the previous part of the tutorial (majority of bowl above the lens barrel). In my opinion, this is very close to a perfect photo for this particular object. Of course, the line in the back of the model shouldn't be there. To prevent this type of problem a sweeping piece of paper could have been placed under the model. The paper would sweep from the bottom of the enclosure and up the back wall in a long radius. This would have made the transistion from the horizontal surface to the back wall virtually invisible. We used the sweep on the page where I showed you the basics of photographing a watch with no visible reflections on the crystal. |
Many of the images are larger than shown and larger than the resolution of your monitor. To display the images full size in Internet Explorer, click the image, hold the mouse button down, drag the icon/cursor to the address bar and release the mouse button and hit the ENTER key. Hold the mouse cursor over the bottom right of the image. If a box with arrows is displayed, click it to show the image at the true resolution. For large images, you will have to scroll to see the entire image. For Firefox users, drag the image to the address bar. To enlarge/reduce the image size, simply click the image. |
